Also known as the ‘Strawberry Bush’, Hearts A’Busting is a low maintenance deciduous shrub native to the southeastern and southern states. It grows in shade to partial shade and prefers well-drained, humus-rich soil. Once established, it can tolerate drought. The green stems provide interest year round. The unique red fruit provides interest in fall.
